I like it! Great Sound experience, better then i expected. The factory sound could be a bit better, but fortunately, there’s an EQ for it. The battery life is also excellent and the pricing is great too.
After several years with my Tribit XSound Go, I upgraded to the StormBox Lava and I'm very impressed. The sound is on a completely different level: deeper bass, clearer vocals, and much better overall detail. Build quality is excellent, Bluetooth connectivity is stable, and the battery life is great. For the price, this speaker exceeds my expectations. Highly recommended!
I was worried about the size and previously chose a more compact model. This time I bought it on sale and I'm delighted. It's large, but the sound and bass make up for it. I listen at about 30-35% volume and it's great. I recommend it to everyone.
Still haven't had an opportunity to test it outside but inside with a bit of eq tinkering it sounds really good.
I really love this speaker to be honest when I be riding around on the street all the cars be looking at me like damn he bumping louder than us lol I would give it 10 OUT OF 10!!!

Everything's perfect—I love the cool AC time and that sweet sound!
The speaker is built simply, with minimal functions and buttons, the autonomy depends on how loud you listen to the music, it probably approaches 24h only if you listen on mute (very quietly), otherwise, at 65% volume, it probably lasts about 10-12h, but mine is still in the running-in period, maybe it will improve a little... The sound is qualitative, it has a somewhat specific timbre, the bass is very deep, sometimes overwhelming and I even reduce it from the application (simple but good). However, it is heard most clearly in the front and loses some clarity and strength on the sides and behind it... As soon as you get it, update its firmware! It doesn't seem to be 80W, maybe 60W, but it also matters how qualitatively the recording of the music you listen to is, so that it can be played back to you faithfully... It's great that the people at Tribit give you a short strap in the box, but also a long strap to carry it. Overall it has an excellent price-quality ratio, considering it is very close to the JBL xtreme 4, but at 40% of its price. Around $100 it is definitely worth it!

I use @ Home as Portable Musik Box. The Sound is insane. With the 360c Sound it can bei rly lout. And the Bass with x boost ist an great help to have fun at homework.

Incredible experience, the app helps a lot with the eq tunning and the personalization of the bass button. I read a lot of people saying this was the best bang for the buck, before buying it, but it’s even better than all people say. The only negative I see is that the foot is too small and the battery at loud volumes or with the eq tuned to maximize bass is not that long. Anyway the best experience!

I got it in a few hours ago and decided to instantly pair up to it and test it because I was excited. I cranked it and played some hip hop, it sounded muddy and cheap. I got afraid I got goofed on again like when I fell for the W-King speaker, but then I remembered someone in the reviews on Reddit said to update the firmware and mess with the equalizer. I downloaded the app, updated the firmware, and then messed with the equalizer settings. Immediately it changed sound quality like day and night levels. I have it set to “Traditional” EQ settings and for some reason it sounds the clearest and punchiest levels to me. If this thing lasts as long as I hope without a blown speaker or a dying battery, then this company is my new go to for affordable quality speakers!
Extremely impressed with the ordering process, very easy and quick, including the surprising discount. And about a week later, the speaker arrived. It's got an almost perfect size and weight, making it very easy to carry around wherever I want to take the music with me. And the sound...I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. The bass is very present, even with the Extra Bass button turned off, and the Tribit app is very easy to use. Once you find your favourite EQ, the speaker simply rocks in the most positive way. I haven't fully tested the battery yet, but I have been enjoying it outside in the garden over the course of 2-3 days (3-4 hours each day) at a 40-50% volume (I did not want to fully annoy my neighbours..yet) and it still had plenty of battery left. Looking forward to taking it with me to my next basketball match and enjoy it with my friends. Love it!

Overally good sounding. Bass response is gold. Treble and mids are good. Tweaking with the EQ settings gives a well balanced sound. Different EQ settings however are needed at higher volumes past 60 percent due to sharper treble but it's easily resolved. Battery life works perfect for daily outdoor use. Nice purchase especially for the price.

I just installed the second firmware update. It made a big difference in sound/performance. I am very impressed with the volume and overall sound . It seems much more balanced and the bass is great! I highly recommend this speaker.
Exciting BoomBox expirience in smaller package 🎉
Out of the box, the Lava sounds a bit muddy and messy, and really boomy depending on location. With EQ on the Lava (I did my own custom based on the Jazz preset), it's a different beast entirely. And that's a good thing. The Lava now has better clarity and detail, but the different genres of music I tried for both are a mixed bag. The Lava does really well with EDM and Hard Rock, and the bass is felt as much as its heard. For Jazz, it's better on instrumentals (think saxes, trumpets, piano) than it is with vocals (but could likely be tuned in EQ), and for Classical (especially Baroque pieces) it sounds good, but not great. The mid-bass (think lower cello range) is still recessed a bit, and lower bass from brass and strings lacks finesse. For Pop music (80s - 2000s, New Wave, Synth Wave, Punk, Top 40s, etc) the Lava sounds pretty rich, especially on dance tracks. That said, for a $100 speaker, I will keep the Lava for outdoor use since it really projects sound and bass. It's insane what $100 gets you today in a Bluetooth speaker, and this is a good example of technology really becoming more affordable. Five Stars!
The Lava speaker is unbearable in my opinion. My son was so impressed with it he bought two Just like I did...And he is a music producer.
The Tribit Stormbox Lava sounds really good, but the highs and vocals are a little closed in for my taste in comparison to Soundcore Motion Boom 2. I only listen and judge sound with my own custom EQ and not Bass Boost on. It sound awful when it's on by the way. It kills the highs. Also, What I find very annoying is that I hear the volume fluctuating when I turn it up or down in while playing music. I don't like it at all. The good; great low end bass, but it also needs more mid bass. Look, I'm just being honest. The the speaker has a great room for improvement. I had greater expectations, but it didn't deliver that. I wouldn't keep it, as a matter of fact, I'm return it and I'll probably get it back and advertise it once I hear a difference later. I absolutely love the Tribit Xplus 2 (I have two) and the Micro. Thank you for the opportunity to give my opinion.

Great kwality and prices
My new Tribit Stormbox Lava is a hopeful replacement for my Tribit X-Sound Mega. The Stormbox Lava compared to the X-Sound Mega is physically larger with a more accurate, cleaner sound and is exceptional at higher volumes. That said, the X-Sound Mega is more compact, portable and fuller sounding at lower volumes, especially with the Bass Boost features. I am learning, with some success, how to adjust the band pass equalizer filters on the Stormbox Lava using the Tribit App to improve its 'fullness' especially at lower volumes. A few more available equalizer options on the 'Tribit App' for "lower volume" would be sweet...

Cannot find downside for this speaker. Sound quality is great, power is more than enough. My only recommend here is to release the speakers in more color options from the very beginning.
set my own eq for the money this speaker is a no brainer
I just installed the second firmware update. It made a big difference in sound/performance. I am very impressed with the volume and overall sound . It seems much more balanced and the bass is great! I highly recommend this speaker.

Out of the box, the Lava sounds a bit muddy and messy, and really boomy depending on location. With EQ on the Lava (I did my own custom based on the Jazz preset), it's a different beast entirely. And that's a good thing. The Lava now has better clarity and detail, but the different genres of music I tried for both are a mixed bag. The Lava does really well with EDM and Hard Rock, and the bass is felt as much as its heard. For Jazz, it's better on instrumentals (think saxes, trumpets, piano) than it is with vocals (but could likely be tuned in EQ), and for Classical (especially Baroque pieces) it sounds good, but not great. The mid-bass (think lower cello range) is still recessed a bit, and lower bass from brass and strings lacks finesse. For Pop music (80s - 2000s, New Wave, Synth Wave, Punk, Top 40s, etc) the Lava sounds pretty rich, especially on dance tracks. That said, for a $100 speaker, I will keep the Lava for outdoor use since it really projects sound and bass. It's insane what $100 gets you today in a Bluetooth speaker, and this is a good example of technology really becoming more affordable. Five Stars!
The Lava speaker is unbearable in my opinion. My son was so impressed with it he bought two Just like I did...And he is a music producer.
The Tribit Stormbox Lava sounds really good, but the highs and vocals are a little closed in for my taste in comparison to Soundcore Motion Boom 2. I only listen and judge sound with my own custom EQ and not Bass Boost on. It sound awful when it's on by the way. It kills the highs. Also, What I find very annoying is that I hear the volume fluctuating when I turn it up or down in while playing music. I don't like it at all. The good; great low end bass, but it also needs more mid bass. Look, I'm just being honest. The the speaker has a great room for improvement. I had greater expectations, but it didn't deliver that. I wouldn't keep it, as a matter of fact, I'm return it and I'll probably get it back and advertise it once I hear a difference later. I absolutely love the Tribit Xplus 2 (I have two) and the Micro. Thank you for the opportunity to give my opinion.

Great kwality and prices
My new Tribit Stormbox Lava is a hopeful replacement for my Tribit X-Sound Mega. The Stormbox Lava compared to the X-Sound Mega is physically larger with a more accurate, cleaner sound and is exceptional at higher volumes. That said, the X-Sound Mega is more compact, portable and fuller sounding at lower volumes, especially with the Bass Boost features. I am learning, with some success, how to adjust the band pass equalizer filters on the Stormbox Lava using the Tribit App to improve its 'fullness' especially at lower volumes. A few more available equalizer options on the 'Tribit App' for "lower volume" would be sweet...
